It seems unfair at times for me as a photographer to say I have a favorite. But without the shadow of a doubt this is one of my favorite families to photograph! I have known Meryssa for almost three years now. Its funny to think back on the first time we met...we made Pizzas together! From a little Pizza department flourished an unexpected friendship. Meryssa has been apart of my Ups and downs in life along with her Husband Nick.
With that being said when she called and asked me to possibly Photograph her little family and the family of her sister, simply put I could not resist!
I had so much fun with these two wonderful families :) Many laughs and plenty of memories. I also adored the age old, modernly twisted tradition on girls in Pink and boys in Blue. Enjoy these few photos from their family session in Ripon California :)
Much Love,

In 2011 I began a journey on the road of photography. As a beginner I was unsure of what I was getting myself into. What I found was a confidence like no other and a creativity to match! Photography to me became more than a camera in hand; it sparked an interest in people places and things. So here I am two years later perusing a dream I hope will take me to places I have never dreamed of. This is me and this is my story.... buckle up and enjoys the ride! FaceBook! Thomas and Michele Engaged!
I do not have the words to describe this shoot. I met Thomas a little over 5 years ago. We worked in the same store and built a strong bond not only as co-workers but as friends too! When he told me that he was planning on asking Michele to marry him I was more excited than he was ;). We talked over Ideas and I pitched him some…. The end result came with three roses (Past, present and future) and a beautiful solitaire marquise engagement ring. Michele’s reaction was of course a yes and she was ecstatic! Now after a whole lotta planning and pinning, Michele and Thomas are set to wed this summer! And good news is they have the most adorable flower girl, a perfect fit to tie in the wedding, their daughter, Mackenzie.
Enjoy these shots as much as I did taking them!
